THE STREET OUTFIT
We are proud to introduce Alberte Laursen Rothenborg, fashion student at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Design.  Her bachelor project called "The Naïve Hobbyhorse Said Yes Yes", is the meaning of the word DADA which means hobbyhorse in French, yes yes in Romanian and in German it’s a word for foolish naïvety.
The collection is inspired by Dada art-movement from 1916-1923, based on the Dadaists methodical approaches to art; “The Laws of chance”, Montage and Ready-made. These methods have been the fundament for her creative process, choices and experiments.

THE GENTLEMEN OUTFIT

THE SKITZOFRENIC LAUNDRY OUTFIT

The Final collection consists of schizophrenic genre compositions that create a incoherent and yet recognizable expression. The colors of the outfits expressed contrast whereas the pixilated prints in all the materials are the unifying effect. The classic materials are a reference to the recognizable, whereas the distorted consist in shape and dysfunctional elements.
