PHOTOREALISTIC PAINTINGS BY VESNA BURSICH

12.7.12

The art of Turin (Italy)-based Vesna Bursich is actually not photos taken of cut-outs, but photorealistic paintings of cut-outs! bursich figures are crumpled, bent and collaged.  The artist states in her bio that she “devoted a large portion of her time to drawing and painting, creating an intimate and almost secret relationship with her
works and trying to seek in shapes and colours the expressiveness that words failed to match”. Her flawless paintings skills come from her background as a restoration painter.

  1. All paintings are hand-painted oil paintings .The quality of paint pigment is stable and the color is not easy to change, which is up to the international detection standard of environmentally friendly materials. We pursue high quality of the painting and precise control of the detail.
