DAVIDELFIN' BAGS BY PELAYO DIAZ

15.10.14

The Central Saint Martins graduate Pelayo Diaz  based between London and Madrid, debuted on Davidelfin’s Fall/Winter 14/15 runway show in Madrid as a collaborator for the lasted collection.
Luxe leather holdalls, totes, shoulder bags and clutches are rendered in stark black and white, with serrated stripes or squiggly prints adding interest. TIGRAN AVETISYAN SS/15

26.6.14

Introducing the talented Tigran Avetisyan, Russian Designer graduated at Central Saint Martins.
Avetisyan’s aesthetics are raw, sometimes oversized and punk-like. The main inspiration for this SS15 is the perfume 'Duty free' pour homme that Tigran created for this seasons.
The whole collection is working as a 'promo' collection for the fragrance. Covered in slogans printing straight over the garments after production, wich makes the creases and folds show in a different way on each piece.

'HYPER-REALISTIC PAINTINGS' BY YRJO EDELMANN

19.6.14

Yrjö Edelmann is one of Sweden's best-known artists, abroad. He became famous with the Absolut Vodka advertising campaign, wrapping the vodka bottle in coloured silk paper and taped it with masking tape. Lately his "parcels" have developed more and more complicated and ambiguous compositions of several boxes wrapped in bright paper. He combines the classical tradition of the old masters with an enigmatic contemporary image world. Edelmann is the great illusionist in Swedish contemporary art.

'ANOTHER COMPOSITION' COLLECTION BY JULIA SEEMANN

16.6.14

Proud to introduce Julia Seemann, a talented with a Bachelor in Arts with specialisation in Fashion Design. Her fabulous 'Another Composition' graduate collection is based on two-dimensional geometric elements, existing as a self-contained concrete composition and without referencing nature and visual reality.
The result of this collection is an interaction between sensuality and sexiness, elegance and coolness, emphasizing the youthfulness of the wearer, which is triggered on the one hand by the jeans material and on the other by the clear forms and bold colours of the collection.

'STELLAR PORTRAITS' BY IGNACIO TORRES

13.5.14

Talented Mexican photgrapher Ignacio Torres uses his work to explore the glorification of the mundane and objectification of the human body.
The stunning moving images series called 'Stellar' that mix portraits with the wonders of the galaxy are inspired by the theory that humans are made from the cosmic matter from a star's death, bathed in heavenly light, the models are seemingly suspended in mid-air as the wonders of the galaxy pass them by.

ADI ADIREG'S FASHION PROJECT

27.3.14

We are proud to show you the fabulous project by Adi Adireg, a fashion design student from Srinakharinwirot University, Bangkok.
For his project, Adi got inspiration from the dressing styles of the Pagakergnor Karen's people of Muangnoi Village at Mae Hong Son, Thailand.  Today their dressing has become a combination of donated Western clothes instead of their traditional tribe's costumes. This has become an alternative style that reflects the true functionality rather than a sheer aesthetic aspect of dressing. Very interesting concept !! Have a look.
